Kabbaland è un luogo, fisico e virtuale, abitato da una comunità di persone diverse unite da un medesimo intento: anticipare il futuro, creandolo. Incarna un sogno collettivo che dobbiamo realizzare insieme: una società nuova costruita sul modello sefirotico. In questo villaggio vivono in armonia famiglie di ebrei di ogni tipo –haredim, hassidim, religiosi sionisti, ebrei tradizionalisti, reform, laici ed atei- i quali accolgono le persone che desiderino trascorrere un periodo di meditazione, studio o di cure alternative. All’interno del villaggio è definitivamente bandito ogni concetto di proprietà privata: l’antico sistema monetario è sostituito da un sistema di libero accesso ai beni e alle risorse comuni.

Kabbaland costituisce il tentativo di applicare le teorie kabbalistiche all’interno della società umana. Kabbaland si propone come laboratorio di sperimentazione di un nuovo modello di società che apporta risposte alternative ed efficaci alla grave crisi generazionale a cui stiamo assistendo. In questo senso lo studio della Kabbalah termina di essere un mero esercizio intellettivo attorno a concetti astratti, ma diventa la spiegazione stessa delle dinamiche interne alla società e ad ogni realtà umana.

ECOVILLAGGIO Kabbaland

Kabbaland è un ecovillaggio nei boschi che circondano Gerusalemme – la cui bioarchitettura si ispira ai concetti più sublimi della Kabbalah ebraica – interamente costruito in legno, pietra ed altri materiali biodegradabili, in perfetta armonia con la natura, le cui risorse energetiche naturali sono autonome, non dipendono né dalle centrali nucleari o elettriche (in previsione anche, a D’ non piaccia, di un grave conflitto armato). Gli abitanti di Kabbaland lavorano la terra, si occupano di agricoltura biologica e producono rimedi naturali alternativi.

Dove si trova?

Ci sono terreni in vendita nelle foreste intorno a Latrun, a 15 minuti da Gerusalemme.

Prevediamo di costruire Kabbaland in questa vallata immersa nel verde dove già convivono fianco a fianco realtà eterogenee estremamente interessanti: come possiamo vedere dalla cartina qui sotto, sulla sinistra si trova l’Oasi di pace Nevè Shalom, fondata dal domenicano Bruno Hussar, dove convivono insieme famiglie di ebrei, cristiani e musulmani. A nord, a breve distanza, si trova l’antico monastero trappista di Latrun e il parco del Mini Israel. Ad est, poco distante da Latrun, troviamo il Moshav Yad HaShmona, fondato da ebrei messianici, immerso nei boschi che circondano il villaggio arabo di Abu Gosh, abitato in prevalenza da musulmani. A pochi km a sud si trova il moshav di ebrei religiosi Beit Meir, dove dimora una piccola colonia di artisti, pittori, musicisti.
